 Post subject: "Failed To Create D3D9 Device" Error

I am still getting the "Failed To Create D3D9 Device. This may happen if the desktop is locked. Exiting..." error every time that i attempt to start the game (through steam and desktop shortcut). Please help.

My PC Specs are...

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
16GB DDR3 RAM
1GB ATI HD6850 Graphics Card
Intel i5-2300 CPU @ 2.8GHz (Quad Core)

Have you tried running this .net installer?

Orion Dino Beatdown/Binaries/InstallDatat/dotNetFx40_Full_setup.exe

That error means that directx isn't being initialized for whatever reason, I'll try to look into it some more.
