Thanks for this great Tuturial, I just am lost at one step how do you name your server what would the command line look like? Can you post a example, I run one server only!!

Thanks

That's another interesting question!

As far as i understood, if you're running just one server instance you have to set up the server name into the PcServer-UDKGame.ini , located into "Your server directory\UdkGame\Config".

Yeah I just don't know the correct command line. If anyone can give example for someone running a single server.

The help would be appreciated!

Where can i type this command line switches in? On the UDKGameServer.exe i cant type anything in.

Hey Rhino, when you create a shortcut on your destop to UDKGameServer, right click on that and go to properties. In the Target field is where you add your switches

My friend and I have been trying to put these command switches in for difficulty and starting credits. How exactly should they be written? We've tried a lot of ways to do it. Like how would they be written on

C:\UDK\DinoBeatdownServer\Binaries\Win32\UDKGameServer.exe SGSDS-World-Covan

Code:
SGSDS-World-Eden.udk?AIDinosaurs=Yes?Difficulty=Medium?Vehicles=Yes -multihome=192.168.0.1 -Port=7777 -nohomedir -unattended

This would be an example command line

Are there any commands to set Admin, or Server Password? Or does anyone manage to get any other commands to work other then those that had been posted?

You can set an admin password using ?AdminPassword=isuckatpasswords (replace that obviously) and then the admin system.

Open the console and type adminlogin passwordhere

then adminkickban for bans

adminkick for kicks
