Just bought a new computer!
I lolled so hard when I watched what I wrote the first time here  Back then I had no knowledge about hardware at all.

Now is a bit different, not an expert but it's working out. Anyways

Processor: Intel core i7-2600K
Video-card: Geforce GTX 560Ti 1GB PhysX
DDR3: 8GB 1333 Mhz
HDD: 2 TB
+ pretty cheap but darn cool: Cooler Master HAF 912 Plus Midi Tower

Well, if I had the money, I would've gone for e 570 or maybe even a 580, but the 560 Ti is a solid choice, too. I don't know about ATI stuff, but if you get such a big processor anything smaller than a GTX 560 would have been a bottleneck when playing games.

So, personally, if you are only going to play games, I would have bought the i5-2500k along with the GTX 560 Ti or bought a bigger graphics card with that processor, so that you wont have to updated the hardware for an even longer time.

But still, that setup should run every new game smoothly, even when you decide to render videos in the background or whatever, thanks to that massive CPU.

I suppose I could update mine...

AMD Phenom Quad Core (975 I think idk) 3.0Ghz - Stock Heatsink
Mobo is M4A79XTD Evo
6Gb DDR3 Ram 1333Mhz
2 OCZ Vertex 30Gb in RAID+0
3 500Gb WD HDD in RAID+0
the nice MSI version of the ATI Radeon HD 6950 with custom bios to enable the locked shaders, so it's pretty much a 6970
I'm using a server grade HP SAS card to run the 3 500Gb hard drives in RAID 0

I'm also runnning two HP ML330 G3's each with two dual core Xeon processors, 4Gb ram, and two 80Gb drives in Raid 0. Using these as game servers for minecraft, Source games, teamspeak, and other random crap.

My room gets extremely hot -.-
