Even If the Aliens do speak English, they are likely to give their vehicles are more...odd name. It's likely that the Carriers give it those as Nicknames. Since the ORION series is Human focused.

Im looking forward for the Depth 'World' I hope it's a dark, Stormy Jungle like level.
